I was just flipping through the channels and came across a "Land of the Lost" marathon on SciFi Channel!!

Holy Crap! I haven't seen it since I was a KID!

I just watched an episode that showed them trying to catch some "alien" chickens...they were white Silkies! They looked like they dyed them red and blue!

Is High Springs anywhere near Brooksville?

Well, I think Brooksville is a little towards the gulf side maybe, and it is about 45 minutes north of Tampa, and I have heard of Gainesville, so maybe it is a little close, but I can't find my map at the moment to look. I have a friend in Brooksville and I went there once is why I asked.

Just got home from fishing. Left at 8pm got home at 9pm. Caught 2 fish but they are not limit size. one was a rainbow trout 8 inches and the other was a smallmouth bass 9 inches. Caught the torut on chunky cheese by berkley and the bass was caught on a mepps troutkilla spinner.

Hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day. It's so nice to have a day set aside to remember those we've lost in our ongoing stand for freedom.

Hypno...I love fishing, but haven't been in about 8 years now!

But I'm planning on taking my son for his first fishing trip this summer.

It was a lot of fun. I hope you can take your son and catch a nice sized fish. Since it was dark last night I thought I caught a nice sized trout but it ended up being a bass. Got snagged three times with my troutkiler spinner. twice in the tree and one on a log. for an $25 lure I would have dived in to save it. I have a lot of berkley dough so I was hoping one would work. Chunky cheese worked on first cast in under 30 seconds but I never got another hit with it. I rarely use natural.
