Brinsea Incubator

I just bought a new Brinsea Ovation 28. The instructions say to stop turning the last 2 days. I had thought 3 days was the norm. Anyone have any input?

I have couple of Brinsea Ovation 28 EX and mini II EX. You stop turning on lockdown-day 18th, remove the turning trays off, when you also increase the humidity, increase the vents opening and just watch and enjoy.

Yes I always stop turning at day 18. I’m just wondering why they say stop turning the last 2 days when it should be 3 days.

Beyond technical usage of the equipment, I don't pay any mind to incubator instructions. I see no benefit to waiting an extra day.

The only reason I could see for recommending that would be if the incubator won't hold enough water to keep the humidity high enough for hatching for 3 days and if there's no way to add more without opening it.

By experience, I stoped turning in the 18th and in the 19th, and made no diference...

So... do it with the way you are most confortable with.

Could be a typo.
Just use your logic over anything written anywhere.
