Brinsea Octagon 20 Advance EX Sale?

I wondered the same thing myself. I looked EVERYWHERE on the internet, and Brinsea had the best price for the product. I dunno if it will get cheaper closer to christmas, but.... I couldn't wait.

Here's what I settled on.

No, I seriously doubt they'll go that low at all. They're kinda on sale now because it's near the end of the "traditional" incubating period (for sensible folks who don't want to have chicks brooding during cold months).

Plus..... Okay, I'll admit it - I ordered a SECOND Octagon Advance EX. That humidity pump for practically free is just wonderful. I have two Mini Advance EX incubators and not having to mess with hygrometers and humidity fluctuations is a dream.

I'm new enough to incubating to appreciate the fool-proof Brinsea products. The EX models are more than fool-proof, they're STUPID proof! (As long as you pay attention to the dates, because the EX models don't count down the days like the units without the humidity pumps.)

And, dsqard, don't go WalMart eggs, try to find a Trader Joe's with actual fertile eggs. Once I have this backlog of eggs incubated and out of ONE of my incubators, I'm gonna try some of those.

I'm coming off of two horrific hatches with my LG Still Air. I'm done. I don't even think I'd use the thing for a hatcher or warmer! lol It's a go then! In just two short hours, I'll be heading for Brinsea ownership. Speak now or forever hold your peace, fellow BYCers!

FYI, I'm darn near shaking from the egg-citment! How are these chickies so darn addictive??? I only started with chicks in June and I simply cannot get my fill of these babies! I have spent countless hours giving them treats and just watching them search and play. Thank goodness the hubby has caught the bug, too...he doesn't know about my outdoor run enlargement plans, yet! hehe

gryeyes there isn't a Trader Joe's in all of Utah. I figured cage free might be close enough to at least buy and check the eggs for fertility. If they are not fertile, I am sure I can find someone with hatching eggs around and I know myself well enough to say that if I get this present early, I will be searching for eggs!

I guess I will have to tell DH today that he might want to order it early and put it in a really good hiding place!

Alright, peeps! One Brinsea Advance EX on the way! Shew...that order button was painful! We've had storms messing with our internet, so I was delayed. Thank you all for the support and suggestions. You sweet enablers, you!

I told my DH that they might not have another sale before Christmas or it might not be as good and I am pretty sure that he ordered it today. Now just have to keep my hands off it till Christmas then I shouldn't have to go looking for eggs to hatch, I better be getting some by then from my own girls!

I bought the Brinsea eco 20 and turner for 2 cent more than what is being offered now and they have never gone lower.

Go for it, they are worth it.
