Sadly, Kenobi will probably be leaving us. He wasn't a bad buy, but I just learned more of genetics and how it all works. I don't need 3 bucks!!

Oh I love creme! And he is a beautiful one! How far do you have to go to get them?

I have two bucks right now. Broken chocolate and blue harlequin. For now, my blue harlequin will breed with my two blue tort does when they are old enough (around November). The broken chocolate will breed again in September with my Lilac doe. I could also breed him back to Willow (Quinn and Hersheys kit), but I’m not certain if I’m going to do that yet. How do you feel about breeding father to daughter? I know it’s acceptable but I guess people have different opinions on it. Idk how I feel about it yet. I won’t breed her to my blue harlequin because he was one of Quinn’s from a prior litter, so half brother technically.

I thought of breeding Caspian to Quinn... But from the research I did, line breeding seems to be much more common in meat rabbits.

Do you guys know if orange rabbits are very popular and/or if they sell very well?

She's 30 minuets away not sure what day I'll go, but I'll be sure to update you when I get them!

The breeder I got my rabbits from did line breeding with a few of hers. Really I don’t think I will because it wouldn’t be to bring out any certain trait from Hershey or Willow. More than likely I’d end up with charlies anyways. I’ll probably keep some does from my torts/harlequin depending on what colors I get. In your genetic research do you have an idea of what colors the blue torts and blue harlequin would make?

I don’t know about if orange rabbits sell good. I don’t see many mini lops for sale in my area.

Hmm. Not totally certain... How did you breed a blue from Quinn? Who was she bred with again?

Quinn was a blue harlequin bred to my broken chocolate buck. And I got Willow, broken blue from that.

But my blue torts came from both blue tort parents. My blue harlequin buck came from blue harlequin and tri blue/fawn parents. (Lots of tri colors in his pedigree). It will be interesting to see what comes from them.

Wow! I am trying to breed in a blue frosted pearl buck (Caspian and Mir will help!) to breed to Quinn/Quinn offspring to produce complety blue litters.

I am now thinking of keeping Kenobi as well so that we have the option of breeding chestnut. 6 rabbits! That multiplied quickly...
