Well, I'm still working on the hutch design... Hopefully we'll start building it next weekend. I plan to get them in October.Fantastic!! When do you plan to get them?

I just left a mini rex Rabbitry, picking up a cage. But it was soooo hard to not take some with me. I’m going to stick to mini lops for a while but when I add another breed, it will likely be mini Rex! I’m in love with the castors.I have decided on mini rex!
Probably a trio of them. How many do you plan on getting?
Yea, I like castors too. The otters and broken lilac are also super pretty.I just left a mini rex Rabbitry, picking up a cage. But it was soooo hard to not take some with me. I would suggest getting 2 unrelated bucks and 1 doe. That way you can breed in and hand raise your breeding stock, there is a massive and wonderful difference in hand raised rabbits!Probably a trio of them.
Isn't it good to have at least 2 does so that if one is a bad mother the other will raise the kits? Or is it rare for rabbits to be bad mothers?I would suggest getting 2 unrelated bucks and 1 doe. Well, yes. It is rare for rabbits to be bad mum's. Sometimes it depends on the age you breed them. But chances are, she will be a great mum and everything will work out fine. Of course there are those exceptions...Isn't it good to have at least 2 does so that if one is a bad mother the other will raise the kits? Or is it rare for rabbits to be bad mothers?
