I was about to start thinking about setting some color goals. But as of right now, I don’t have any specific colors I’m trying for.
—Broken Chocolate buck to breed with Lilac doe
—Blue Harelquin buck to breed with two Blue Tort does (I’m not sure what colors I’ll get from this yet) I could also use my broken chocolate for these does but I didn’t know if that would be a good match up. I may do it once to see.
—Broken Blue doe (Willow) who I could breed back to her dad (Broken Chocolate) but I’m thinking of looking for her a different buck, just don’t know what color yet.

Learning genetics is really important too! I have a friend who has learned a ton and has helped me out. But it is definitely a huge part of rabbit breeding.

Yes I’ve been doing a lot of reading! Some things I understand and some I don’t yet. I have much to learn!

I’m really anxious to see if Lilly (lilac doe) does better on her next breeding. And I’m also anxious for my kids first show at the county fair!
