I’m not sure… he was bred at a stables that just had a bunch of wandering rabbits and one of her females ended up being a male, not very small, just a bit smaller then average sized

He’s about normal sized, cause of the dwarf half… his mom was a Flemish but she wasn’t a huge one, he’s a little smaller then our cat but she’s also tiny.
I’m looking for any I can find but I think later would be best since it’s going to be snowing soon

He hasn’t been growing as much but he might not be quite done

Where do you live (big city near you)? How much snow do you get at once?

Alaska it can change but it gets into the negatives most of the time, right now it’s around 30-20 during the day and enough to freeze a good layer of water on their bowl, not very big of a city yet, large quiet neighborhood

I'm not sure your rabbit can survive in that, especially in the snow. You may have to pursue a more cold hardy breed, but there aren't many. Have you had bunnies through the winter yet?

We have before yes but not in years, both his parents lived outdoors their entire lives as well and were Alaskan raised. We have a large barn that I plan to make a little hut in for him to stay warm if he gets too cold, he also occasionally gets in the coop with my chickens

Awesome! Do you think he would be in the snow then? He could easily get frostbite if he's wet. Caspian's ear tip froze from flopping in his water bowl last year, if happens fast :/

The barn is four sided with doors so unless he decides to be he won’t!

I gave Lilly her nest box this morning! She isn’t hay stashing or anything yet but she did do some digging in it. Wish I had a camera to set up in there to watch her! Lol I’m just going to be hopeful!
