Agh, so close! Have you felt Lilly's belly at all? Can you feel babies still?

I haven’t tried with Lilly just because I don’t want to stress her out at all. Since she wasn’t hay stashing, I was hesitant on giving her the nest box today but thought it’d be best to do it earlier so maybe her motherly instincts will kick in. I still can’t tell with Willow.

Good idea. I felt literally NOTHING in Mopsy. But Chai kindled 4 days early, you just always want to be ready!

Well I’m glad to hear that because after I posted that last message, I decided to go check her if she’d let me. She was calm and stayed laying down while I felt around and I just couldn’t tell if I was feeling anything. I felt a lump but it seemed smaller than I thought it would be at this stage. It’s just hard to tell. She had dug out some of the hay and pine shavings I had put in the nest box.

I forgot to mention that about half of the litter will be Vienna carrier's, Vienna marked, or have blue eyes!! So excited to see!

Tomorrow I’ll start checking on Lilly more often throughout the day. She hasn’t really done much with the nest other than dig out the back of it, but more like making a mess. At least she’s not using it as a litter box! She’s very calm today and eating. I rearranged the mess of hay a bit again and made a little hole in the back of the box. But I’m going to leave it alone after today. I even pulled out the tiniest amount of fur; she just sat there and let me do it! That’s how calm she is today.
