Broken eggs-Chicken or dog?

hi guys! We went to collect the eggs this week, and when we got there, we found the eggs broken and empty. We want to know if this is our chickens, or our dog, Sadie. Here is a pic.


Please help! I need to know who is doing this so i can stop it!

are you sure? Our dog has occasional access to the nests, But when she does eat an egg, she eats all of it. And, She does not leave it in the nest.

Just by looks of the groves and the size of hole in the egg it looks like a chicken and a dog would more than likely would have made the hole bigger to be able to eat the egg

Oh well. I guess we have to start sitting outside to see who does it. I'm lucky though, I only have 4 hens ate the moment. Thank you all for your help!!!!!!
