Welcome :welcome I agree.... try different bedding. The nest box liners come as washable reusable mats, I currently use the ‘natural’ pads, top them with some shavings. If they get dirty or really scratched into shreds they go in the compost pile. Carpet remnant is another option to line the bottom and then put shavings in

She could be calcium deficient. Are the shells really thin?
No, not thin. They are always broken on the flat side of the eggs, never the ends. By the way, since my original post there hasn't been a single cracked egg!! And she has changed nesting boxes. Still not laying in the same box as the others, but still a different box. Maybe problem solved itself?
