My hen, Ghost, I think broke her toe, she disappeared for a good long while yesterday and came back seemingly fine but today she didn’t leave the coop (and my silkie hens stayed with her all day in the coop) and when I had her walk she was limping pretty badly, her toe seems stiffer then the other and bent a little bit, I’m not exactly looking for a cure but I was told that it’s fine to just leave her be outside and she’ll heal on her own, is that true for every chicken? It didn’t seem like she was eating before I brought her inside that or she really really missed having beef fat and is lighter then my youngest silkie… should I put her back out or keep her inside in the kennel I have for her? My hens generally aren’t agressive to each other at all, other then common pecking order stuff. I soaked her foot in warm water with epsom salt and she’s been resting since then. (She’s laying in the kennel, that picture is just from when I put her in the kennel)
UPDATE: I tried putting her outside but my rooster was chasing her down even though she has a bad limp
