Bronze or Wild Turkey Poult?

Howdy everyone. I have been a lurker on BYC for months now, and so I finally decided to pull the trigger and order a mixture from McMurray. Since I had no real idea what breeds I wanted I thought it would be fun to purchase a Homesteaders Package. I am pretty sure I have identified the rest of the menagerie but not sure on these turkeys. Any help is appreciated!

I'm thinking Narragansetts.

I think you are right there. They look like Broad Breasted Bronze turkeys, which can't breed naturally, so it probably isn't a bad idea to have one for Thanksgiving. Great looking birds!
You haven't heard any gobbling or seen them strut with all their feathers up have you? If you have, you can bet the one you hear or see do these things is a tom.

Why do you think thet cannot breed naturally?

The breast section on them is too large for the tom to mount the hen. They artificially inseminate the hen turkeys. You can use a heritage breed or wild turkey tom to breed a Broad Breasted hen, to get a meatier turkey. But in the Broad Breasted turkey category, the tom is just naturally too large. Let me know if something isn't clear.

I could be mistaken in that it was probably a Bronze Heritage turkey mixed with a Bourbon Red. They are a mix breed, right? If so, I was probably wrong. Sorry if I confused you.
