NEED ANSWERS PLEASE READ! I had 45 eggs in my gqf forced air incubator. We used our styrofoam still air for our brood. Temps maintained at between 99 and humidity at 65% in brooder. They all hatched fine but once they all started hatching the humidity went up to 80% at times and oncebthe temp was like 103. We only left the babies in for a while and figured they were raising the humidity. All but 2 eggs hatched the last two died in their shell with no pips. The last three that hatched had umbellical still attached and one I had to take a small section of shell off her back because she was dred to it she was the last one.
How long do you leave the babies infor at the least. One person said he only leaves them in for 45 min, another said a full 24 hours? All my vents were open at the end and I couldnt keep the humidity low. My next hatch will go in in 9 dayss, with also about 45 eggs. I cant afford another brooder. Any ideas thanks!!
