Brooder ideas needed for 1000 chicks

I need large homemade brooder ideas. I have seen where someone designed a battery brooder but can not find the post now. We currently have 4 2x8 box type brooders but the take a lot of space. We need the same or more brooder ability that takes up less of my brooder house.

Oh mercy, 1000 birds is a lot of birds. I wonder if you don’t have room for the 4 boxes will you have room for the birds?

You should be able to get at least 5 tiers, if you have over 6 feet. The tricky part is making it so the heat bulb is accessible while not making each cage too tall. I would design them around the best poop trays you can find. The best poop trays I've found are dog crate trays. Chewy has a 42" x 28" tray for only $11.57! https://www.chewy.com/frisco-dog-crate-replacement-pan/dp/137864 I use these in my stacked grow out cages and they work great.

Another thing that'll help is fountain waterers. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33026065834.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.61cd4c4dWAPl0U They can hook up directly to 3/8" tubing, so you can them all on the same water supply. I use these in my brooder and I can confirm that quail chicks won't drown in them.

Do you have pictures of your set up?

I only have a large plastic tub for a brooder, which can't hold more than a 100 chicks at a time. Have you seen this one?

His setup is pretty good, but it would probably be best to add a heat lamp guard.

I have been looking at that but was hoping for other ideas as well
