just fyi as I've learned from experience. Each and every surface of everything in that room will be covered in a fine dust. you may want to put your treasures away while your babies are growing out. I just raised up some silkies and showgirls in the garage and everything was covered in dust. just wish someone would have warned me. It took hours to clean.

Be very very careful of this, it just says fire hazard to me. I've had heat lamps get a little crazy in the heat dept and over heated everything around it.

echoing the above warning! it looks like that heat lamp may not have a ceramic base where the bulb screws in. the ceramic ones don't get hot like the metal/plastic ones.

We used a plastic tote. I cut a portion of the lid and attached wire! Works great and is easy to clean!

I like this idea as I need to focus more on finishing my coop and not working on a brooder. How did you attach the wire?

I started this little project this afternoon around 12:30pm and finished around 7:30pm.
Took longer than I wanted , but I also wanted it to look like I wanted it to. |*LoL*|

28" on left and right side. 30" for the middle section.



Small water bowl is temp. got to go to TSC tomorrow for
new waterer.
