Well, this morning I have 6 darling chicks. I took them away from mama already

because I couldn't wait any longer. I had to get my hands on them. They're all eating and doing well. She's still got 6 more eggs, and I'm hoping for more chicks...

I've got two more this evening - a blue one and another light colored one. I've never had splash before, so I'm hoping that at least one of the light yellowish babies is splash. I was really hoping for blue/black/splash out of this bunch.

So 8 out of 12 shipped eggs have hatched. YAY!!! Mama's still got more, and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed...

I just candled my eggs tonight and 9 out of 10 have veining!!!
