She knows what she's doing so don't worry. Pippin eats chick crumb right out of my hand. She doesn't drink much so I dip my finger in the water and she licks it

Well, my silkies are large fowl so I'm not sure how small the silkie bantam eggs are but the polish are smaller than the eggs my silkies lay

You should let her hatch more often even if it’s one egg.
Mine only went broody twice and I let her hatch both of em

We don't have enough room in the coop for more chickens.
Depending on roosters (we can't keep them) and how many hatch, we can do it again
