I thought hatching 38 ducklings was a lot lol. I also have 5 chicks in the house, and will be hopefully picking up 4 Muscovy duck hens. Then Monday 6 ducklings I ordered will hopefully ship.

Hatching 38 ducklings IS a lot! Lol they are so messy! I'm looking forward to being done brooding after this whole set coming up. I'm having a baby in 2 months, so hoping to get everything out to the barn by then!

Oh, ok. That's pretty decent. Were the eggs shipped?

No, they weren't. We drove a 3 hour round-trip to get them. But whatever we get is fine.

Oh dang! Well good luck. Ducks are so much fun.

I know! We raised a few Pekins last year, and they were fun, but SO messy.

Does anyones chickens lay WAY later in the day that you might expect. I always expect my chicken to lay by like 10:00 but they are only done by 2:00-3:00

Oh, yeah. Some of mine will occasionally lay at 5:00-6:00.

Oh, I feel that. I made the mistake of going into TSC the other day. My dad practically drag me away from the chicks.
