I did a quick candle in the dark of the blue one and I got a better picture. It has formed a lot more than I thought in that short of time! I love this chick already and named it Henrietta.

Yes, it is a BO mixed with one of my Easter Eggers. That is a great picture of the embryo, and it definitely looks viable. I would be careful how much you candle the eggs (you certainly don't want to accidentally drop one), but if it is still growing the next time you check it, the egg should be past the initial 'danger' zone of the first few days!

Haha yes, I know. It's just so tempting!! Yay!!! I hope this one makes it through. Especially since if it is a girl, it will most likely lay green eggs and I don't have any green egg layers. Mine could be EE BO BA BR RS females mixed with SS BR PD Roos.
I have no idea what they will look like which makes everything more exciting!!
