broody hen and turkey eggs

I am seriously considering getting some turkey eggs and put under one of my broody hens. I have standard cochins so having a broody hen at any given time spring-summer is a given. Anybody let a chicken hatch turkeys?

I have an Aloha hen sitting on turkey eggs that are due to hatch Friday/Saturday - does that count? I can let you know better after the weekend. She also has 3 chicken eggs under her, so those lucky poults will have a Mama AND tutors

keep me posted!! I would love to hear how it turns out. I figure turkey eggs at $2 each are way cheaper than poults at almost $10 each. I am hoping to get 6-8 eggs and let one of my cochin hens raise them.
