Hello
One of my Indian runner ducks (Emma) has became broody! She did this before around a month ago but after about 3 days of me being vigilant and taking the collected eggs out of her best she was fine! Although this time it has been going on for about 6-7 days now and Emma has actually began rounding up all the chicken eggs, aswell as her own eggs and this morning I found her sitting on 12 eggs!!! We do not have a drake due to the fact that our ducks free range alongside the ex batt girls. They are kept in different accommodation at night but I would worry a drake would still hassle the chickens during free range time.
If anyone has any tips to help Emma through her broody phase this would be greatly appreciated
