I only checked on her a couple of time, and every time I did, there were more dead babies.

Terrible..Never use her again.
As far as hatching make sure that the temp is right and have humidity with the eggs. Best of luck.

Put a cone on her head and sit close by to remove Chicks as they hatch. A margarine container over her head so she can't touch the Chicks. Cut a hole so her head fits through and put her in a small crate. Remove the Chicks as they hatch.

Is she a first time mom? I'm sorry to hear that some of your chicks died .

Hope it works out for you! I like the cone idea, the hen can do the heat/humidity for you but won’t be able to peck and kill them... hopefully you’re able to sit with her for the rest of the hatch to steal those chicks and whisk them away to the safety of a brooder

Yes she is, and she is an older mom also

So..You can crate her and subdue her for hatching I'm sure she won't move once coned.

Can you show some photos of how you are trying to heat the eggs?

@Stacylynnlac had a similar problem - she put her heating pad in a crockpot, once it was heated, I suppose the ceramic liner held the heat better? (she only used the heating pad for heat, not the crockpot "burner") You may want to look at her thread - I believe she did get 2-3 to hatch so...worth a try.
