Broody Poop-Why so awful? Have to ask...

If you can picture 24 hours worth of poop fermenting in a warm environment and then all being released at one time- that's only partly how bad it is. I think pig poop is more foul, but I'm not certain about that.

Most good broodies don't even poop once a day but can go a few days or more without expelling the load. It is usually very dark and concentrated by then with a fowl....er..uh...foul odor.

....except my elderly dachshund, Zorro...... I gotta get to it before HE does. *shuddering* I don't know if he'd actually eat it, but he sure zeroes in on it right away. He eats other chicken poop, so I wouldn't put it past him. Don't want to find out, though!

OMG!!!
Don't know how I am going to deal with this toxic poop! I could hurl just reading your posts.
Australorps are large birds, I can't even let myself think about how large her broody poops will be!
Will the smell knock out my other birds (1RIR & 1Bantam Leghorn) in the 4x4 coop I'm building? Will they wish it would?
