Awww that’s awesome!! And I feel ya!! I’m getting 5 new chicks soon (they hatch Monday so should be here Tuesday or Wednesday) and I’m scared to integrate them with the big girls. I have them separated so it will be a while but still lol I have it so they can see each other though so maybe that will help.

Yeah, I read about that a while ago and thought it sounded like the best idea!! That and outdoor brooding!! So mine will be in a separated part of the coop at first and then I’m planning on expanding the run and moving them to the run in a couple weeks (still separated) then doing the portals in the fence first before full integration. But I am nervous too because my first chicks were raised indoors so I’m nervous about having outside babies haha
