Brown Jersey Giant chicks?

I hatched 40 Jersey giant chicks recently. 3 of them are not the right colors. I have blue roosters blue hens one black hen and a splash hen. The splash hen was in contact with a pheonix rooster but I had her in the Jersey pen for at least a month before I collected her eggs.

I've looked online but have never seen or heard of this color in a jersey.

Leg color indicates Pheonix blood. It is entirely possible that they could have still been fathered by the phoenix.

Can we see a picture of the parent stock? Do you have an Ameraucana or Easter/Olive Egger male?

No chance, these chicks look entirely from a different breed, chicks that are E/e+ or E/eb look nearly indistinguishable from pure E/E.

What are the chances of the JG hen being E/e+(not pure JG) and somehow the Phoenix mated to her to produce 50% E/e+ and 50% e+/e+?

No chance, these chicks look entirely from a different breed, chicks that are E/e+ or E/eb look nearly indistinguishable from pure E/E.

What are the chances of the JG hen being E/e+(not pure JG) and somehow the Phoenix mated to her to produce 50% E/e+ and 50% e+/e+?

Do those chicks look like they have muffs to you?

The only other birds I have are svarthona.

They do not come in physical contact with each other. I checked the chicks they have straight combs.
