BROWNISH REDISH POOPS

Hi,
So today I went to collect the eggs and say hello to my chickens and I noticed a big red poop. It was like chocolate pudding consistency. I’ve included some photos. Please help!

I would watch for more of those, or try to separate the one that passed it, to see if there are more. I would take a sample to the vet to get it tested for coccidiosis and worms. Capillary worms and cocci can cause blood in droppings. There could be other causes such as internal injury or cancer. If a fecal float is not possible, I would buy some Corid and treat for coccidiosis for 5-7 days, then treat for cecal worms with fenbendazole (SafeGuard liquid foat wormer) 1/4 ml per pound given 5 consecutive days. Corid powder 1.5 tsp or 2 tsp of the liquid per gallon of water is the dosage.
