Well it looks like my latest babys are going to black! I expected to get blacks from the start but have been surprised with the other colors. Black is not my favorite color.

ghulst were you hit by any of the diseases spread at the last Louisville? I have heard a lot of breeders lost many birds. More than one lost their ribbon winners! Thats a terrible thing. They said the spread was worse last year than ever before.

I bought four birds and didn't have any problems,then a local guy gave me some birds that were infected and I lost about half of my rollers before I could figure out what to medicate with. I want to try and get some pouters this year but I am sure going to keep them quartined.

I just picked up a pair. I wanna know how good of flyers they are. I plan to place them in a pheasant pen, and need to know if they will be able to fly away from the pheasants. Please help

Mine are pretty good flyers,although I have never let them fly "loose" outside the loft. I am sure they can stay away from the pheasants tho.
