BSL roo??

This is my black sex link bird Violet, who is almost 14 weeks old. I got mixed reviews for pullet vs roo when I posted a younger pic last month, so here's the latest pics. I think roo- which thankfully I can keep where I live!! Feel free to weigh in...

It's hard to tell for sure in these pics I think I am seeing pointy neck and saddle feathers.
Do you see them in person too?

I'm a 1st time chicken owner so it's hard for me to tell. I don't have any other BSLs to compare her/him to. Here's some better pics of neck and tail.

I also see thick legs.
I am not familiar with that breed but I think his coloring may give it away too??

Black sex link (BSL) Roos are barred black and white, while hens are black with gold speckles. You do have a cockerel, but he's not a black sex link

Any thoughts on breed then? Some sort of mix I would guess?

He is a mixed breed.

He's definitely a mix, but he probably has some Marans in him.
