I got the chicks Saturday night. So I’m on day 4 with them.

My oldest birds are 1.5 years. I’ve not had any problems with them.

Thing is all your old birds could be the cause of Respritory with the Chicks but only carriers of the disease..Transfered to the Chicks...You won't know.

I won’t be able to breed and sell from these will I? That’s what I bought them for.

It depends on what they have. It would be best if you could have one of them tested to see what diseases they have because not all respiratory diseases make them carriers for life.

I think @Eggcessive knows a lot about which diseases make them carriers for life, and which ones do not.

Is it passed to eggs? If I hatch or eat them will I get sick or will chicks be sick? I’m sorry this is new and I’m trying to find everything out

Mycoplasma is transferred to eggs, not sure about the others. Eggs are safe to eat.

I hatched a few with mycoplasma. I got a dwarf . lived a few months. I believe its the coyrzo that you can sell hatching eggs.
