I'm curious about how my flock got it. I bought them as day old chicks from Meyer's. Only one shows any symptoms so far and that was a couple of months after they were moved from the brooder in the house to the coop outdoors. My neighbors near by don't have poultry, the closest seems to be someone who has ducks about a quarter of a mile away which I can distantly hear on occasion. I do have lots of quail that come through my yard and hang out by the coop so it seems like mine caught it from wild birds unless there's a better chance a breeze brought it from those ducks. Thoughts?
Did you have them tested ?

Ally, I use diabetic "short" needles and you can alternate breast muscle or sub Q top of neck is good for sub q . Do you have a scale ? someone else will have to dose them.
A digital one. Easy to clean.

If you think it could be mycoplasma you could start with Tylan, but the injectable, which can be given or orally or by injection, should be given 3-4 times a day. Since Tylan 50 and Tylan 200 can cause injection site necrosis, I would give it orally.

Tylan also makes a powder that you could use in the water:

You could also try Denagard or Bayrtil
Tylan 50 can be given orally? The other stuff I’d have to order and it would be awhile until it arrived.
