If your bird has white on his feathers, you should not use him for breeding.
There are lots of good males out there, you should find one from somewhere else rather than use this one. This is a pretty serious fault that gets worse as you breed it in.
If you can't find someone locally to sell you a male, I (or I am sure any number of other folks here) will send you one just for the cost of shipping (I have about four extra males right now.)
