Is this Hen a Buckeye, i was told she was a RIR.

My eldest son and I are hatching Buckeye Roo over Delaware hen as a broiler-cross project. It isn't strictly a Buckeye project, so I will start a thread for it under the meat birds. I just wanted to post here as some Buckeye growers expressed interest in the cross.

A real dual purpose breed, the buckeye! Thanks for posting. Will look for this in the meat bird section.​
 
I am doing a Dark Cornish Cock over Buckeye hens, since the Cornish are poor layers I chose to not do it the other way around.
The theory is, when the freezer is empty, I can gather & hatch some meat chicks.
When the fridge is low on eggs, we will still have the Bigger buckeye eggs to eat & sell to customers.
My concern is will the Cornish be able to reach the target ???
If not, then artificial ensemination may have to happen.

But, we should get the ultimate tender and extremely meaty offspring from this pairing.
