Buckeye Breed Thread

I have been selling all my eggs, medium to jumbo, in a mixed carton, as long as the 12 eggs reach the desired weight.
My customers get the biggest kick out of the assorted colors, blue, green, pale brown, dark brown & chocolate brown.
It almost looks like I need a white egg in there....

If anyone reading this forum knows of anyone who purchased a cage of Buckeyes at the K&L swap meet on Feb 26-27 (Southern Kansas), it is *very important* that I make contact with them.

This may seem like a shot in the dark, but please humor me... if you know or hear of any new, proud Buckeye owners in the Sunflower State.

Thanks - exop

They are the last birds of a noteworthy flock, which might otherwise be lost to history. If I or someone else can't persuade the new owners to sell a few birds or hatching eggs, at least I can talk to them about their purchase, so they can understand the treasure they have... and hopefully take good care of the birds, breed them and perpetuate the line.

Best - exop
