Buckeyes: heat tolerance?

Anyone with experience with Buckeyes in hot weather please comment. I am starting over with Buckeyes and hope they can tolerate Arkansas heat, Just wondering what to expect.

We are in Iowa, so we get a lot of humidity with the heat, but our Buckeyes do fine. As long as they had shade and water, I think they will do great.

During the hottest part of the day ours take dirt baths and kick manure piles (horses) close to the barn in the shade. They raom out in to the pastures in the morning and late afternoons.

They are hard working hennies, their legs are always covered in dirt up to the hock when they come in at night!
