This is my budgie....

(mickey with tiger the button quail)

Character: Is quiet most of the time, but when someone starts reading outloud, or singing he start shrieking, singing and shouting! lol
He loves making friends with my wild rescue birds! He imitates anything but my voice, i guess he's sick of me saying "PRETTY BIRD" lol he is tame and will step up onto my finger but he doesn't play with me....

I don't have budgies (I have finches and bourkes parakeets) but I'll have to get a photo of my Mum's budgies. She has a gorgeous opaline violet boy and a creamino female.

Here are Benny and Bella. They aren't the best photos as I had to use my phone camera but it is less scary than my big camera, and it is easy to take a photo through the bars with it. He doesn't look overly purple here but apparently cameras don't pick up purple very well. I just love his wings with so much colour in them and the back of his head is all purple too.

Yes, they must be about a year old now. Mum had been wanting a violet budgie for ages and we found one for her one day. He was just a baby then. He's grown so much.
