I'm putting my opinion on here one more time, but that's it
Saying God made parakeets fly so they should fly is nothing like saying God doesn't want you to work with animals.
I hope that didn't offend anyone.
Ive seen them, but ive never owned them,!! Our pet shop SELLS them like CRAZY....Has anyone seen or own(ed) English Budgies?
You aren't. I'm just saying that God never said we couldn't. I would also be careful talking like that. The mods don't like it one bit. Especially if it seems wrong to them. I understand why they do it though. If you really want to grow a strong bond with your keet you have to clip the wings. If your keet was hand raised, you probably won't need to. (Yes, I understand, some of you were able to tame your keet without wing clipping ext. It is just a matter of choice.) You want an untamed bird flying around that could potentially get itself hurt? I think it is worth it. It shows my parakeet I am okay. Most parakeets die in the wild by predators when they loose flight. That's why clipping there wings, and being gentle to them shows them you are not a predator, you are a friend.I'm putting my opinion on here one more time, but that's it
