I will get some soon. three more chicks today. two broody hens. Had to put them in crates since I am at work and the coop they are in isn't so chick friendly. Hope to retrofit this w/e, then I will get pics.

Stinker or not- He is staying. Right now I have him with a red frizzle hen. Can't wait for her to start laying!

Nugget is gorgeous as ever and I love the little man's bright yellow legs!
This will be exciting. I have my Red roo Porky in with my Buff Barred hens right now, and his red frizzle daughter in with Sammy & Woody. I'm so looking forward to seeing these chicks mature!

Great- sounds like we are doing just the opposite. I can't wait to get a Buff Barred hen or even just a Buff hen. I'm looking around here like crazy so I will find one eventually. I may have a pullet in the brooder but I'm having trouble telling if it is a BB or MF.

Last year I could tell immediately at hatch which ones they were; this year, not so much. There are a couple of chicks that are going to have to grow out just a little bit before I know which egg they came from..

I could earlier this year but this chick is really different. It's black and gold and started feathering out with Mille like feathers and now is turning buff barred.

Definitely! nuggie is looking better after his tussle the other day. I am glad to see he has a gf now.
