Thank you. We are really loving our new girls! Old ones too lolGorgeous flock!![]()
Have an updated photos? There was a recent thread with a Brahma roo same rough age and boy could you tell lolLove it! I keep following and stressing about my Fern hahaha. The feathering is catching up but she still has far less feathers and more fluff and a more upright tail. Her sister and the others peck at the new feathers trying to come in on her back just in front of her tail and I’ll occasionally see a bloodied part of a feather pinTheir combs and wattles are the same color and size so I am going to keep holding my breath. Especially since one of my EE’s is a roo!
I’ll have to get some tomorrow! I haven’t taken any recently and it’s too dark now. I have been scouring BYC for photos of Buff Brahma Roos (or potential roos) and I *think* Fern is still a she. I don’t know that I found the thread you’re talking about.Have an updated photos? There was a recent thread with a Brahma roo same rough age and boy could you tell lol
I snagged some through the hardware cloth on my way to work so they're not the best. I always forget to take my phone in with me! The only difference between them right now is that fluff tail on Fern and the eyes being a touch more red. Otherwise they're the same size and so are their combs. Also Fern's feathers on her back end are rounded still from what I can tell but I will get better photos and upload them.Have an updated photos? Lol that fluffy butt! I'd still lean towards pullet bc of the curved feathers near tail *but * fingers crossed, those fluffy ones don't turn in to saddle, BUT everything else looks pullet. I'd expect more waddle for a cockerel at this size
THANK YOU! Definitely fingers crossed! I knoooowwww! If the others would just STOP PECKING IIITTTTT! hahaha. I put the Pick No More lotion on her but she preens it all off and I feel bad - she hates it on and hates the taste and so I just stopped. Ps. I don't know why the photos attached more than once.Lol that fluffy butt!
