6 months 13 days after dog attack is the court date.

I suppose this is normal. I have little experience in courts, honestly, and I doubt t.v. is an accurate reflection of reality. I hope it's just today. I'm bringing girls in case more witness's are in order or helpful.
I hope everything went well for you today, Marty! I'm sorry you have to re-live the experience by going to court.

Be happy it was only 6 months. I'm involved in a dispute and they set the court date for 11.5 months later... next spring.

Well, I went in yesterday and the dog owners lawyer had some small aspect of the law the judge has to read his paper on and give a judgement about weather or not a duck on the edge of town but now in town proper still counts as a domestic animal or something. Postponed for two weeks from yesterday.

Sorry Marty. Looks like these peoples lawyer is going to throw anything he/she can to try and get them in a better place. Still NO matter their dogs broke your boundary and came onto your property and went on a killing spree. This is going to be interesting on what this judge comes up with....

Now with all you lost in this I would say you lost well over $2,000 or more worth of birds. Then the grieving from what you seen and had to go through. We shall see what the law does?????????????

In our state that would probably be ignored if you weren't served his argument is a response a certain amount of days before the court date.

I hate legal maneuvering.

Very pleased this year with our first Buff Dewlaps, we seem to have waited for years then had a great hatch. Some our showing exceptional development and promise. We've hatched from 2 lines producing Buffs and one line appears to be producing exceptional youngsters.

From just about 2 weeks old we're seeing good depth of body, early keel development and good heads. However this is early and the other line could well be slow developers so we'll just run them on.
