I should take some, the buffs have gotten bigger, and dewlapped out more. They aren't show specimens, but they are geese of character, dignity, and when they look me in the eyes, I know they aren't any bodies unfeeling dummies. They are gentle soulful birds for sure. The white Africans are showy and sharp, noisy, bossy, and independent. Meep and Meep meep (the two goslings we hatched and kept) are a little friendlier, but are rapidly becoming like their folks. The sebbies and buffs hang out, but the Africans do their own thing, and they'd thank you for minding your own business, if they spoke English. The sebbies are funny dorky puffballs. Not as docile as the buffs. Not very smart. Not especially attentive. Clearly bread for looks and not wits and practicality. LOL. I'm thinking about selling mine.
