If you see blood rings then the egg is no good, how many days? Look at the chart I posted that should give you an idea of what you should be seeing in the eggs.

Not to far off at all and no they will not be staying with mom after hatch. We want the babies to have the chance to bond with there new owners. I know it is a lot healthier if they stay with mom several days before going to family's but as I said before we want them to be able to bond with there new family's and we really don't have room right now to house ducklings for several days. My ducks were hatched in a hatchery and did not have a mom and I think they are better for that reason because they are very friendly. Tell me if you have any objections to this or other ways of doing this...as it is my first time and I don't want to be doing anything wrong. Is it too far off topic to ask if the ducklings will stay with mom for a while before being given to the families waiting for them?
so I tried to take some pics but the phone kept focusing on the egg and it turned out to be a pic of a regular egg in a dark room(it was not focusing on the inside of the egg). Any good cheap places to get a LED flash light? You should still be able to make out blood vessels and see movement. Can you post of good candling pic of a couple of the eggs. And if you don’t have a good LED flash light I highly rec one
I'm just thinking about how miserable your mama duck will be.Not to far off at all and no they will not be staying with mom after hatch. In front of the store where they have their sale items.so I tried to take some pics but the phone kept focusing on the egg and it turned out to be a pic of a regular egg in a dark room(it was not focusing on the inside of the egg).
