    good morning everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has orfingtons and red stars/golden comets together.

I have 4 japanese Bantams and 2 seabright bantams and am looking to get 4 hens for eggs.
I had golden comets before but I am hesitant to get them because although they give a lot of eggs, I read somewhere they have shorter lifespans and shorter egg laying times.

Also are orfingtons as nice as the comets/red stars. I want them to get along with the bantams. I plan on getting chicks,
so when introduced the bantys are still larger than the regular size birds

    also are orfintons really broody.

    thanks

    David

I have both and Red Stars (Red Sex Links) are both very nice birds, and they seem to get along. In my flock they are both the most friendly of all my birds. The Red Stars seem just a little smarter then the Orpingtons.
