Would be glad to offer free Buff Orpington Cockerel but having read the threads about telling gender now wonder if I am sure about the sex. Our chickens now 13 weeks
We are close to Glasgow, Scotland and glad to show you the birds if you are nearby
 
At 13 weeks it might not always be easy to tell in a photo, but my initial impression is that she is a pullet. Instead of looking at the comb, I look for early development of fine pointy collar feathers and saddle feathers. I can only see the collar feathers a little but I don't see the signs of the pointy feathers coming in. Here is a photo from another thread of a 13 year old American Buff Orp that people think is male:


It is not dramatic at this age, but the collar feathers are thinner and coming to a point at the end. Here is a link to the thread:

Thank you for your advice....we will wait and see how the birds grow, time to put the chickens to bed here!
