I haven't thought about that with their age gap but it'd be so wonderful if that could work. The 7 weekers are extremely curious about the babies but I haven't really let them interact more than a few minutes, on one occasion. If it's not obvious yet, I am a chronic worrier.

I ordered 15 chicks from Cackle Hatchery, 4 different breeds, and they sent me 20, an extra of each breed. 2 died on the first day, so down to 18. I was pleasantly surprised to get the extras!

I'm sorry to read about your losses. Other than that, I hope everything is going well. I'm still enjoying my pullets from Cackle Hatchery. I did find a new home for the cockerel I posted about here. He was making the girls miserable. It was like they were walking on eggshells all the time and we were all so stressed because of his behavior. I wish you all the best with your chicks
