Am I the only one that noticed that the BYC Logo is of a Buff orpington...

I mean, I guess there's a slight resemblance?
It's a chicken. Don't really see any other similarities.

They're from Carolina Rare Chicks. They're the only three out of 15 eggs to make it, sadly, but I'm just glad I got some chocolates and I'm really, really hoping at least one is a pullet

I just saw this! Love love love Carolina Rare Chicks. I only have a Black and Red Orp from there but they're very nice birds. I think I had a fluke but I will say 10/16 were pullets which was a pretty impressive ratio so hopefully you share the luck! Please update with pictures as they age!! I love my girls but when I ordered they were sold out of many varieties and I do love chocolate mottled especially!
