Can I just say, why does every Buff orp ever need to be named Buffy?

Why can't it ever be anything creative like Daffodil, or Vomitica, even Buttercup... why Buffy

Actually, I had one named Daffodil. Daffy for short. Also Clover. And Dandelion. Dandy.

My Buff Orp is flock queen (quite benevolent. her bestie Jill the Delaware is her Beta/enforcer ) and her name is Pauline. Didn't know she'd be Top Girl of our 8 pullets when I named her - so now she's Queen Pauline!

She's named for the engaging house-chicken in a book my young daughters loved, "Arthur For The Very First Time".

But no,no, "Buffy" was never gonna happen!

I had a buff named June. Her buff Brahma friend was named July. Then I had a bantam buff Brahma rooster named August (Gus)
