Sorry, which breed are you referring to? I like buff silkies if that’s what you mean by “buffs”I dont really get why yall hate buffs
buff orpsSorry, which breed are you referring to? I like buff silkies if that’s what you mean by “buffs”![]()
Ew, gross.buff orps![]()
Oh..I've had my neighbors leghorns come and pick a fight with our hens and when i tried to catch them, they were really flighty. Our neighbors say they are not very friendly either. They rarely let their chickens free range since they are hard to catch.I don't really get why you don't like leghorns![]()
B-but why do you think they are gross?Ew, gross.
Ah..maybe I like them because they are super friendly to me. Any color suits fine for any chicken in my opinion.Because different people have different tastes, and we happen to be people who think that solid Buff on chickens is gross.![]()
That makes a lot more sense to me now. That's fine! My personal take is that the color is unappealing and, quite frankly, boring. They have no texture, nothing interesting to look at, they just kind of blend into the soil or with each other. I have had plenty of chickens over the years who are friendly, cuddly, and sweet, and that are actually pretty or interesting to look at, so I don't need to get chickens with a color I don't like to get the same effect.
