I don't like English Buff orps either. Color is nastay.English variety are beautiful
I think Emma (like most) doesn't like them because the most common buff orpington is skinny as a leghorn and too pale of a buff

Not solid buff. Doesn't count. Buff cuckoo and buff laced white are to DIE for
Thank youSold buff is ugly. Buff laced is gorgeous
Not a fan of her face, but her plumage is gorgeousI loved my buff Minorca I had last year. They were a deep, even almost copper and cold color.

I also would love a fully buff pheonix
THANK youI find solid Buff just as unappealing in English Orpingtons.![]()
Solid Buff would be the one for me! I use the distinction of 'solid' because I don't mind things like buff laced, etc., but when it's solid it's just so... blah. Icky.
While I would choose literally any other variety, if I could, it I had to have a solid Buff bird I'd choose this one
This is okay.
Better than the other one but me no likeWhat about these? They aren’t so uneven and red but still have that rich coloring https://chocolateturkeys.org/buff/
