Buff Orpington X Light Brahma = ???

If you breed a Light Brahma rooster to a Buff Orpington hen, does that make Buff Brahmas? I’m curious…

No.

You would get what most call a barnyard mutt. Nothing wrong with mixed breed chickens at all. You just won't get a buff brahma as that is a pure brahma chicken of a specific coloring.
