Ok I've been from front to back on this thread and cann't find any information on buff genetics or improving the colour . Nothing ---- So I have a few questions . How is the buff Colour created ? ( From what crossing - if a person wanted to started from scratch with the colour ) And what is really the right shade everyone is working for ? ( my self I prefer the redbuff colouring but that is only a preference not because It's the proper colour .) I've seen them very creamed coloured to almost red . And I have them right here on my farm and would like to set up a pen for breeding them and really don't know who to put in

I'm not going to part with any of them just don't want to put myself back if I'm already there . And I've been asked several times how the colour came about - Well I don't know . And I feel if your breeding or working on them you really ought to know a little something about them before you offer advice on improving or breeding . So some of my thoughts and questions if anyone would like to help ----- Tammy
